George Sparks was married to Minnie E. Van Vleitt. He was born in 1876 and died in 1959. His father was Mathew R. Sparks and his mother was Belle Barnett Sparks. George & Minnie lived at 710 North E Street, Oskaloosa. In 1940, George was doing carpenter work for the WPA (Works Projects Administration).
